Welcome to the Website of Tomoyasu Mani.

Tomoyasu Mani is an Associate Professor in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry in the University of Connecticut. Prior to starting his own group in 2016, he was a Goldhaber Fellow in the Chemistry Department at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, working in the Electron- and Photo-Induced Processes for Molecular Energy Conversion (EPIP) Group directed by Dr. John R. Miller. He has received his Ph.D. in 2013 (Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics) in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania with Prof. Sergei A. Vinogradov. His research interests centers around photophysics and spin chemistry for the purpose of applications in biomedical imaging and renewable energy.
